How to Create App Screenshots with a Transparent a Background

On mac use command+shift+4 to make a screenshot of a specific part of the window in the Ymove Editor

On Wiindows you can only take a screenshot of the entire screen:

  1. Press the Windows key + Print Screen key together.

  2. The screen will briefly dim to indicate that the screenshot has been taken.

  3. The captured screenshot will be saved in the "Screenshots" folder in your "Pictures" folder.

Then visit photopea.com. This is a clone of photoshop in the browser, not as powerful, but still very good.

  1. Open the image you've you screenshotted.

  2. In case of windows crop it to remove anything but the phone. (Click the crop tool, select your area, and hit enter).

  3. Click on the magic wand.

  4. With the magic want click on the background you want to remove and hit the backspace.

  5. Export to PNG
